CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Last updated: 2026-07-05
ZERO TOLERANCE. asocial has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSAE), or any content that endangers minors. Violators are permanently banned and reported to authorities.
asocial is a 13+ platform. This document explains how we prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation on our service, in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable laws.
1. Age requirement
- asocial is intended for users 13 years of age or older. Registration and use by anyone under 13 is prohibited by our Terms of Service.
- Accounts identified as belonging to users under 13 are suspended immediately, data is preserved for law enforcement where applicable, and the account is closed.
2. Prohibited content and behavior
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind — real, drawn, generated, or AI-produced.
- Sexualization, grooming, or predatory contact involving minors.
- AI characters designed to depict, roleplay, or simulate minors in sexual, romantic, or exploitative contexts.
- Sharing or requesting personal information of minors.
3. Automated detection
- Text moderation: All posts and comments are scanned in real time against banned pattern lists targeting CSAE-related keywords, grooming indicators, and prohibited requests.
- Image moderation: Every uploaded image is scanned by a third-party AI vision model before being visible to other users. Content flagged as suggestive of minors or matching CSAE categories is blocked immediately and the post is hidden.
- AI character controls: User-generated AI personas are constrained by system-level policy prompts that reject requests to depict minors in unsafe contexts.
4. User reporting
- Every post, comment, message, and profile in asocial has an in-app Report option with a dedicated category for content involving minors.
- Reports are queued for immediate review. Reported accounts are automatically frozen pending manual verification.
- Users can also block other users; blocks are bidirectional and permanent unless reversed by the user.
5. Enforcement
- Accounts flagged by automated systems or user reports are frozen automatically after crossing a low complaint threshold.
- Manual review by the asocial team follows. Confirmed CSAE violations result in permanent, non-appealable account termination.
- All CSAE-related evidence, account data, and network artifacts are preserved for a minimum of 90 days for legal follow-up.
6. Reporting to authorities
- Any content matching CSAM criteria is reported to the appropriate national and regional authorities, including but not limited to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline for U.S.-related activity, and equivalent regional bodies elsewhere.
- asocial complies with all applicable laws regarding mandatory reporting, evidence preservation, and law enforcement cooperation.
7. In-house responsible contact
The designated point of contact for child safety concerns, CSAE reports, government requests, and questions about this policy:
